Is this real?
Yes. The Trestucker Award is real. The prize is fully funded and will be distributed to the winner.


Who judges the submissions?
The Trestucker Board reviews all submissions. Board members include individuals with backgrounds in the medical, legal, and engineering professions, as well as experience in the arts.


What happens to my work after I submit it?
You retain all rights to your work. Trestucker will only use your submission for evaluation purposes. If you win, we request permission to display your name, institution, and work title on our website.


Am I eligible if I'm in a related field?
The award is open to students in healthcare, legal, or engineering-adjacent programs. This includes (but is not limited to): medicine, nursing, public health, law, paralegal studies, all engineering disciplines, computer science, architecture, and applied sciences. If you are uncertain about your eligibility, email us.


Can I submit multiple pieces?
Yes.


Do I need to be enrolled full-time?
No. Part-time students in eligible programs may submit.


What are "Trestucker privileges"?
Membership in Trestucker is currently closed. Information about privileges is shared only with members.


How can I become a member?
Trestucker is not currently accepting membership applications. We do not have a timeline for when applications may reopen.


Will you provide feedback on submissions?
Due to volume, the Board cannot provide individual feedback. The winner will be notified directly, and all other applicants will receive notice that the award has been granted.


Can international students studying in the U.S. apply?
Yes, as long as you are currently enrolled in a U.S. institution.
